The Batch entry system speeds up daily entry procedures by allowing you to enter an unlimited number of transactions per patient in this one batch screen. All charges and receipts for all patients treated for the day can be entered into one ledger screen. This is far more efficient than opening each patient account, one at a time, to enter the transactions for the day. Plus, any errors that are made during the entry of services for your patients can be corrected quickly and easily before you permanently post the services to your patients’ accounts. The result is cleaner, more accurate accounts.

The Batch entry system also tracks full balances AND patient portions due, warns for insurance plan limits on charges and visits, tracks automatic co-payment and deductibles and allows you to select from multiple "Fee Schedules” for the most accurate pricing of services. “Walk-out" receipts can be printed or viewed on-screen.

Fast, Accurate Billing

Insurance Processing has never been easier! You can bill for multiple doctors and multiple locations, on paper or electronically. An insurance form layout feature provides for modifying the placement of data on insurance claims. Default layouts can be edited to re-position patient information or add/remove specific data items. Multiple form layouts allow for different formats for various insurance plans (Medicare, Workers’ Comp, Blue Cross, etc.) A library of pre-defined form layouts is provided to fill out claim forms properly to meet state and federal requirements.

The Pre-Insurance Report “screens” claims for missing information. This allows you to correct the patients’ information before processing to avoid claim rejections. Your cash flow is improved by avoiding weeks of delays caused by rejections.

The E·Z BIS Automatic Insurance Printer processes the insurance claims for all un-billed charges, eliminating the possibility of services “slipping through the cracks”.
Also within the Insurance Processing option, you can send claims electronically, print labels for your paper claims, or you can reprint an entire insurance run or reprint claims printed on a specific day beginning with a specific claim.

Reports available in the Billing System

A multitude of pre-designed reports for billing, collections, patient relations and marketing help you to better manage your practice. Reports such as the practice analysis, analysis of services, new patient report and statistical graphs help to show the current status of your business, as well as historical data and future trends. Reports can be viewed on-screen with handy tools to search for text or zoom to a desired magnification level.

On-screen graphs are available for practice statistics including total or average charges, receipts, visits, new patients, collection percentages and more.
