Treatment Notes Improvements
In the new version 7.3, we made many enhancements to the Treatment Notes documentation system.
Unlimited Number of Treatment Note Items on Chart
There is no longer a limit for the number of subjective, objective, treatments, assessment or plan of action items that appear on the Treatment Notes Chart.
Better Custom Notes
Now, custom text notes have no limitation for the length of the text. Plus, you can add multiple custom notes to each note category and position them wherever you wish within the category, instead of them always printing at the end.
New ability to re-arrange the order of Treatment Notes
With version 7.3, you can change the item order on the Treatment Notes chart and on the travel sheet.
New Comment Field added to Claim Records
There is now a place for comments on claim records so that you can make notes of collection efforts. Just double-click on the claim record and type your notes right into the screen.
New Deposit Slip Report
We’ve added a brand new Deposit Slip Report that lists your total cash and itemizes your checks. You use this new report to complete your bank deposit slip for the day. You can even attach it to your deposit slip for reference. The Deposit Slip Report can be printed both from the new Payment Posting Ledger or from the Batch Entry Ledger.
New “EFT” Method of Payment
You can now specify payments as EFT (electronic funds transfer) transactions. These are included in your total receipts, but don’t print on the new Deposit Slip Report.
Ability to Re-print Patient Receipts
In previous versions, patient receipts could only be printed on the day of a patient visit. Now, you can print a receipt for today or any previous day!
“Saved” Survey Reports
Have you ever wanted to create your own custom reports? Now, you can use Survey Generator to create a report that shows the information that you need and save it as a custom report. Then, each time you need the information, just run the custom report.

Next Appointment Date added to Patient Recall Report
The Patient Recall List, which shows the patients who have dropped out of care, now includes the next appointment date. This helps you to know that the patients who have not been treated recently, but have visits scheduled, do not need following-up.
New Forwarded Claim option
When choosing the “Send Form To;” option for insurance claims, you can now select “Forwarded Claim” for those insurance companies who coordinate with other secondary payers and automatically send claims to that payer. With this option, a claim record is created, but no insurance claim is generated.
New Provider Codes
Fill out the referring physician information with blazing speed by creating Provider Codes. Just choose a code from the list to fill out the entire screen!
Patient Called Name displayed in Front Desk
The Front Desk screens and Travel Sheets now display the patient’s called name, rather than the formal first name, so you can address patients by their preferred names.
Batch Entry option to synchronize the batch date to today’s date
Many of you would prefer for the Batch Entry Date to always be today’s date to make sure that all entries posted are for today. There is now a preference that allows you to always synchronize the Batch Entry Date to today’s calendar date.
Improved Credit Disbursal Ledger
In Collection Desk We’ve made many improvements to the credit disbursal process in the Collection Desk module. Primarily, we eliminated the pop-up message that asks what to do with the remaining open balance each time you disburse a credit. The new disbursal window gives you a simple, convenient way to disburse credits.
